A dinner companion said to me the other night: “As much as you seem to have hated those ten years, I think a part of you still lives in the 90s.”
Me: “Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
She looked at me for a long time before responding: “Too early to tell.”
And then you have to go and post this song, Jessica… Sigh. I miss this silly kind of simplicity in music from back then, in the radio, in the movies (I think this was used in… So I Married An Axe Murderer?), in popular culture as it was in general.
