1. I bought an issue of an Archie digest while in line at the supermarket the other day. There were several, which surprised me greatly (that there’s still several). I was definitely leaning towards the Betty and Veronica one and then I saw the cover to this one. Never mind the changed art style (Archie looks like Jimmy Olsen, which makes me laugh because that’s a whole change of status there, right?), but the cover just looks so sad. Profoundly. Probably is if it’s, as the cover advertises, part of a storyline entitled “Archie Goodbye Forever.” Forever’s a very long time. Also, Forever’s gonna start tonight. I’ll get around to reading this at some point.
2. At work, Conrad has this bizarre habit of constantly disappearing and then suddenly showing up three and a half minutes later with a salad that he’s half way through proudly munching down. At first, it’s just weird. Then: it’s unsettling. Seriously. Look at that homicidally healthy look on his face. Terrifying.
