That’s true. Also, this movie Uncertainty looks fucking ridiculous. But I really want to see it. Lynn Collins, side note, is absolutely gorgeous. The only thing I know I’ve seen her in (besides a trailer for this movie) was as the evil shapeshifting waitress on True Blood, and JGL would seemingly have now out acted and out lived all the other heirs to the throne of “current most interesting young male actor.” So, that’s cool. But the Sliding Doors-esque plot to this thing? Ridiculous. Alternate world-ish young couple struggling with the decision about whether or not to go ahead and be parents vs. 70s type conspiracy thriller? I’m sold. I wish I could see a few more trailers these days that look this stylishly nuts.
Side note: It would appear that everytime I mention “a Sliding Doors-esque plot,” everyone knows what I’m talking about, even though I’ve never found anyone who’s seen Sliding Doors. Myself included. How is that managed?
