Clearly, as the latest episode proves, The Venture Bros is on a hot fireball of a roll this season, not so much focusing on stand alone wacky adventure episodes, and instead filling out the wacky loops in the character’s adventurous backstories.
The latest episode references Tesla, Crowley, Eugen Sandow, Fantomas, Samuel Clemens, Oscar Wilde, Archimedes, Da Vinci, David Bowie (again) James McNeill Whistler, “The House That Coke Built,” Hunter S. Thompson, Galileo, Newton, Howard Hughes, the Frick museum, the greatest drummer of all time, and Brisco County, Jr.
It just proves yet again that it’s one of the few shows out there than can be both hilarious and erection inducing. For your brain.
