The Doves, “Caught By The River.” This band (in addition to World’s End Girlfriend) is perfect music for a rainy day. Or a hangover. I’m not hung over, but looking out the window, I feel like I should be. It’s either perfect nap weather or I feel like I should be curled up under a blanket, lost in an oversized sweatshirt writing bad poetry in a diary. So, if you’re stuck in some kind of similar situation, just microwave yourself a bowl of soup, put on The Last Broadcast, and maybe hold off on the bad poetry for a bit. Maybe do some reading.
